Hope you all have a lovely weekend! I'm headed back to Big D to see my mom and do some "shopping"! What are your plans for the weekend?

If you follow 20Something on FACEBOOK you would know that a few days ago I got a trash can. And was REALLY excited about it! Why?!?!?! Because it's cute... and it holds all my not-so-cute-shipping-supplies!

If you're ever lucky enough to stop on by East Texas and get to come to Casa de 20Something... You will have to sign the STOP sign... all the cool kids do it...

Organizing: Day 6

It's day 6 by my schedule anyway!

G's side is still not up to "my" standards but it's a heck of a lot better than before!

Today on A Bowl Full of Lemons is kids toys... Well we don't have kids so here is my craft hutch! (AKA my toys!)

Pretty dang organized if I don't say so myself! Now on to tackle the master closet!


Okay and I'm not gonna lie... I'm pretty tired of posting about my daily progress of organizing! Not that I don't like getting organized BUT I'm ready to get back to crafting! Sooooooo let me finish up some projects over the next day or so and I'll show you those! You must all be tired of organizing by now! Sorry! :-)

Organizing: What day am I on?!?!

Here is the day by day schedule from Toni at A Bowl Full of Lemons.

Day 5: Under the Kitchen Sink

I did under the Kitchen Sink on Day 1.

I was planning on doing my dressers yesterday... but it was snowing! It turned out to be a good day to just cuddle up on the couch and watch some T.V. so I took the day off to cuddle. :-) I'm planning on doing my dressers when I get home from work today!

Here is day 7. My Pantry!

Before it was a big jumbled mess!

I took everything out of  my pantry and got to cleaning! I'm starting to use Mrs. Meyers Clean Day! I love this stuff! It smells D-E-V-I-N-E! {Sorry Toni I can't afford Shaklee}

After I SCRUBBED my cabinets I put down more contact paper and this is what I've got!

Much nicer! I cook based on the 5 Meals in 1 Hour plan so it only looks like we don't have a ton of groceries! The meal plan has helped us out tremendously! Y'all should try it! Plus the food is soooo yummy, an added bonus!

I also worked on my spice cabinet!

I put like items with like items... Baking supplies, seasoning's I use regularly, cook books, etc.

Now I can find everything quickly! How is y'alls cleaning and purging coming along?

P.S. G and I have FINALLY decided how we are going to redecorate our living room, dining room, and bedroom! Updates coming soon!!! I can't wait to show you all! I think it's a PERFECT balance for the two of us! Thanks for every one's input! It helped a ton!



Organizing Day: 4

Still going strong with A Bowl Full of Lemons 21 Days to getting organized. I can't thank Toni enough for getting my hiney in gear! So day 4 is the linen closet.

Gross! So I took out everything and cleaned it... Most of it went to the trash :-)

 G and I don't really have a lot of linens so this is really a linen closet turned storage closet.

This is what I have now!

Excuse the floor in there... It's 60 years of stains. We're planning on putting down some linoleum tile soon.

Well like I've said before once I get to going I can't stop so I also did the cabinets in the master bathroom.

Yes I'm OBSESSED with Bath and Body Works everything! NO I am NOT buying ANY more Bath and Body Works until ALL of this is gone!!! I can't help it they have good sales!

In other news today... I got a package!

Megan over at A Little Knick Knack had a giveaway and guess who won?!?!?! Yes ma'am I did! I got a $25 Gift Card to Okio B Designs on Etsy and this is what I picked out!
