Okay so it may not look like a lot, and it may not be that hard to get it all done... but I work, and we've been busy lately. I don't really feel like doing much when I get home. When I'm at work though I am constantly thinking of all of the things that I want to get done at home. I wish I could just take a week long hiatus to redecorate my house... If I did I wouldn't be able to fund my fabulous makeover though... It's a catch 22.
The other thing is where do I start?!?! With so much to do I don't know what to do first! I know to start in one room and work my way out but which room do I do first?!?! Have any of you ever decided to redecorate your entire house all at once? If so where did you start?
OMG Brooke, I LITERALLY wrote a post about this last week. I was/am so overwhelmed by all the fabulous projects I see bloggers do, plus all the stuff I want to do to my house!
ReplyDeleteI think we are seriously one in the same... my solution? wine & xanax :) {preferably not together though, trust me on that one!!}.
don't you just wish we all had an unlimited amount of funds to do whatever we want????!!!!
making lists make it easier... i have several, and i really need to consolidate them all, so i have a better idea of what i want to do.
Hi Brooke,
ReplyDeleteWhat a very honest post, I think we all feel this sometime. I have a new house I'm trying to do the same to so I'm taking it one fun project at a time and I'm focusing on enjoying the journey along the way.
After all, if it was all done, I'd be bored!
Best of luck with your list!
I say start in the bedroom and make it your haven - a place you can't wait to get to at the end of the day! I can empathize, though. There are a thousand things I'd like to do around here! :)
